Gdynia is a port and a starting point in several directions: along the Tricity bypass to the south, north towards Rumia, Reda and Hel, and by ferry to Sweden from the Stena Line terminal. A car in Gdynia comes in handy when you need to get to Orłowo, Oksywie or Babie Doły, which lie at opposite ends of the city. People also take one while their own car is being repaired and for trips out of town, to Kashubia or to the seaside.

Pick-up and delivery
Car pick-up in Gdynia at our head office or in the centre
The best option is to pick up the car at our head office in Gdynia. The default pick-up point in Gdynia can be selected in the online booking, and delivery to it is charged extra.
Delivery to another address is arranged by phone. We quote the fee straight away; it depends on the rental period, and for longer rentals we may even deliver the car free of charge. We confirm the pick-up time by phone after you submit your booking.
Our head office is in Chylonia, in the northern part of Gdynia, a few minutes' walk from the Gdynia Leszczynki SKM stop on ul. Chylońska. The default pick-up point in the centre is Plac Konstytucji in front of Gdynia Główna station, convenient if you arrive by train.

How much does it cost to rent a car in Gdynia?

Where in Gdynia do I pick up the car?
The best option is our head office at ul. Krzywoustego 4, where the cars are parked in the yard. In the online booking you can also choose the default pick-up point at Plac Konstytucji 1, in front of Gdynia Główna station; delivery there is charged extra. We confirm the handover time by phone.
Can you deliver the car to my address in Gdynia?
Yes, once you have contacted us by phone. We quote the delivery fee during the call, and for longer rentals we may even deliver the car free of charge.
How do I get to the head office from the centre of Gdynia?
By car from the area around Gdynia Główna station it is about 6 km and a drive of a quarter of an hour or so. Without a car, the easiest option is the SKM commuter train to the Gdynia Leszczynki stop, a few minutes' walk from our head office.
Can I take the rental car on the ferry from Gdynia to Sweden?
Yes, travel abroad is possible with our prior written consent. Please let us know before you book the ferry so that we can prepare the documents.
How much is the deposit and when do I get it back?
The deposit is 1,000 PLN for most cars, 2,000 PLN for the VW Tiguan and 4,000 PLN for the VW Touareg and the BMW X3 M40i. For drivers under 25 it may be twice as high. It can be paid by card, bank transfer or in cash; a deposit paid by card or transfer is refunded within 7 days of returning the car.
