Minibus rental at the Stena Line terminal – CarsProject
We rent out 9-seater minibuses that you can drive on a category B driving licence. Pick-up at our head office in Gdynia or at the default pick-up point at the Stena Line ferry terminal, ul. Polska 4 in Gdynia.
With a ferry, time matters: the ship keeps its schedule and the group does not want to wait for paperwork. Our head office is in Gdynia too, a few kilometres from the terminal, so we handle everything locally without driving in from another city, and we complete the agreement and the handover in a quarter of an hour. One vehicle with the whole group and their luggage drives on board, driven on a category B driving licence.
Stena Line ferries connect Gdynia with Karlskrona in Sweden. This route is used by crews working in Scandinavia, groups of friends on holiday in Sweden and families visiting relatives on the other side of the Baltic. Anyone arriving in Gdynia as a larger group needs a minibus to travel on around Pomerania. The terminal on ul. Polska is close to the city centre and the Tricity bypass.

Pick-up and delivery
Minibus pick-up at the Stena Line terminal or at our head office
The best option is to pick up the minibus at our head office in Gdynia. The default pick-up point at the Stena Line terminal can be selected in the online booking, and delivery to it is charged according to the price list in the booking.
Delivery to another address is arranged by phone. We quote the fee straight away; it depends on the rental period, and for longer rentals we may even deliver the minibus free of charge. We confirm the pick-up time by phone after you submit your booking.
The point is at the Public Ferry Terminal on the Nabrzeże Polskie quay, ul. Polska 4. The group can load up the minibus on the spot and drive straight into the ferry queue or head into town.
The driver can also collect the minibus at our head office at ul. Krzywoustego 4, about 10 minutes’ drive from the terminal, and pick up the group at the port.

Short-term minibus rental
A minibus for a few days in Sweden or for a tour of Pomerania after arriving in Gdynia. Pick-up at the terminal or at our head office, return at an agreed place after you come back by ferry. The daily rate depends on the rental length tier.
Long-term minibus rental
A minibus for several months at a fixed monthly rate, with OC and AC insurance included. For companies that send crews to work in Scandinavia and want one vehicle for the whole contract.

Where do I pick up the minibus at the Stena Line terminal?
The default pick-up point is at the Stena Line ferry terminal in Gdynia, ul. Polska 4, and you choose it from the list in the online booking. Delivery of the minibus to this point carries a surcharge according to the price list in the booking, so the best value is to collect it at our head office at ul. Krzywoustego 4. Can you deliver the minibus to the group’s address in Gdynia?
Yes, after you get in touch by phone. We quote the delivery rate straight away, and for longer rentals we deliver the minibus even free of charge.
How do I get from the ferry terminal to the head office?
It is about 4 km, roughly 10 minutes’ drive. The driver can collect the minibus at our head office on their own and then drive back to the port for the group.
Can I take the minibus on the ferry to Sweden?
Yes, with our prior written consent for travel abroad. Please tell us your destination when you book. The driver must be at least 21 years old and have held a category B driving licence for at least two years.
How much is the deposit for a minibus?
The deposit for a 9-seater minibus is 2,000 PLN. For drivers under 25 it may be twice as high. It can be paid by card, bank transfer or in cash; a deposit paid by card or transfer is refunded within 7 days of returning the minibus.
